"mild indigestion resulted in bypass surgery"

About: James Paget University Hospital

i was referred to A & E Dept by out of hours doctor. I had what i thought was mild persistent indigestion. It was only blood test results that showed any sign i had had a heart attack. It was down to the thorough and professional attitude of the staff that resulted in my condition being diagnosed. I was transferred to the Acute Cardiac Ward where i was looked after very professionally. All staff from domestics to consultants at this hospital treated me with care and respect. I could not fault any aspect of this hospital. My care and treatment was excellent. I was eventually transferred to Papworth Hospital where I underwent Quadruple Bypass and heart surgery. I cannot thank the staff at both of these hospitals enough. I would compare the professionalism of the staff at both these hospitals equally.
