I gave birth to my beautiful baby boy in here on April. Was very happy with a service. I had a difficult labour, after my water brake I went to birth centre, they checked me and said that I am just 1cm diluted, and I shuld go home because I didn't hade any contractions. The midwife explained everything very good.I wasn't happy to go home at first but after it was ok.the next day I returned to birth centre just to be told I am still 1cm, after that I was sent to maternity unit because I needed to be induced, on birth centre they do only natural labour with was my plan. . I had a induction and after 8 hours of painful contractions I was just 2cm.. then I was sent to labour ward, , this is where I received the best care. They started to prepare to put me on drop. The midwife offered me to have a epidural before the drop,, because apparently it's much more painful then normal labour and only 2 in 10 can handle the paint...I still wanted a natural labour....my mistake, , after 20min I was in so much pain that even my hubby almost past out... then we desided to go for epidural,we waited very short time, the lady who gave the epidural was so nice,, she was talking so cam with me,,,bay that time I could hear and understand jus hear... The two midwifes was great,, the female doctor and male doctor was great.., really fantastic I can't thank them enough for everything they did. they wasn't there when I was pushing the baby, because the shift change. It took me 47 hours to give birth after my waters broke. ..phhh There was another midwife then, she was great to,, she was a bit funny, , made me work hard,, but with her help I just pushed for 20 min and my baby boy was born. The next morning the original miwife and anesthesiologist came to see me and a baby,,, that was really nice :) midwife even gave me tips how to change a nappy... Overall great experience. Thank You! :)
