Whilst out in the garden I began to feel unwell and went indoors. By this time I was being sick, had pains in my chest and was feeling very rough. We called 999 and within minutes the paramedics had arrived. I can remember them saying they needed back-up and that I was hyperventilating and needed to slow down my breathing.
The next thing I remember is waking up in hospital and the doctor saying ‘It’s all done! ’. I had been rushed to Bournemouth Hospital where they had put a stent into one artery – I have no recollection of the ambulance coming, being taken into hospital…nothing. Fortunately my husband was with me all the time.
I wanted to thank Ross and James for taking such good care of both of us.
