"There was plenty of parking"

About: Peterlee Community Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

There was plenty of parking

What could be improved

Communiction between staff and patients to notify them of the waiting times and process. More time and care spent with the patient once being seen by the doctor. The attitude of the reception staff and the 'security guard' should be improved as they made you feel as if you were an inconvenience - at the end of the day wtihout us there would be no patients and no job. Staff should be asked not to eat chewing gum whislt seeing patients.

Anything else?

Overall the experience was very poor with, unhelpfull staff, dirty facilities (check the hand rail behind the waiting area door) and I would go straight to A and E in future. I wish I could find more positive things to say but I cant. I am not a regular user of the NHS but when I have in the past it has been quite a positive experience, but this was poor.
