"vascular surgery clinic 15/09/2014"

arrived for my appointment at vascular surgery clinc only to be told it had been cancelled several weeks ago. in fact the day before i got my letter giving me the appt. how did this happen. i was very upset i have been waiting quite a while and been very worried as to what might be wrong with me. what made things worse is that we were away on holiday and made a purpose journey of 60miles back juct for the day so as not to miss it.some one needs to be held to account for how this mistake was made. it was not just me everyone on todays list were turning up only to be told sorry cancelled. the girl on the desk was most helpfull and made me another appt the error not being hers but someone in another dept..do hope this will not happen again it is si stressful for patients.
