"Septorhinoplasty operation"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

I had my op in April after waiting only 5 months to help a blocked nostril. The surgeon was absolutely wonderful; a kind and caring man with fantastic people skills - exactly what you would ask for in a surgeon. He has a wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise, I felt no worry whatsoever about the op - had complete faith. The staff on the day preparing me for surgery were so very friendly and caring, it was certainly on a par - if not better - than private treatment. I have had private ops in the past and the staff at the Royal were just as great. It's easy to take the NHS care for granted, but if you've ever lived abroad and had to pay through the nose (pardon the pun!!) for healthcare insurance, then you definitely see the NHS as a Godsend. Thank you to all at ENT and to the arrivals area staff for being so amazing! Love Sinead x
