"Ileostomy surgery and stayed in HDU and E3"

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

All the staff I encountered both before and after surgery were fantastic It was a pretty scary operation but the treatment was excellent. While on E3 I witnessed the staff being kind and caring to other patients who were sometimes demanding, sometimes unable to communicate. .

Thank you for taking the time to write in and tell us of your experience. We are pleased that all the staff you encountered were supportive and that your operation went well. We would like to apologise that the staff you encountered were demanding and unable to communicate. This type of feedback is invaluable when training staff, so please be assured we will of course pass your comments on to the lead staff in Ward E3 for their information and learning.
