My husband collapsed at about 7 this morning while fetching the papers and a passer by called for an ambulance, from then on until he was released later this afternoon, his care has been excellent. The paramedics were so kind to him and me, my husband kept saying he was ok and didn't want to go to hospital, but they dealt with it with the utmost patience . When we arrived at the hospital he was taken to Majors in A&E and once again everyone was so kind and caring. After tests and an examination it was decided to transfer him to the medical assessment unit. When we arrived there, by now our daughter had arrived as well, and once again we were treated very well and my husband was looked after with care. My husband has several quite serious health problems, and has been in and out of Basildon hospital on several occasions, all of which he has been treated very well, but today was exceptional and I just felt I had to let you know, as I know this hospital sometimes, like a lot of hospitals, do get bad press, but personally for me and my family I think you are doing a great job......please keep it up.
