"Hysterectomy 26.08.2014"

I was diagnosed with endometrium cancer and within 6 weeks from my initial GP appointment received a total hysterectomy which has eradicated the cancer completely. At all times the consultant and all staff involved treated me with respect, care and support. Everything was explained fully and the op was completed by keyhole surgery despite scarring from previous surgery. I was allowed home the next day, am healing well and getting on with my life which has been given back to me. The consultant took the time to telephone me himself to give me the wonderful news that the cancer was all gone and no further treatment necessary. I can't thank everyone at Treliske enough for everything; my words are simply not enough but they are sincerely meant. Thank you one and all. Jenni Grose
