"Bad staffing & forgotten on ward"

About: Birmingham Women's Hospital

Update on previous review, there are still four of us on the ward that have been waiting nearly a week to be induced. I myself was admitted on the 25th as an arranged Appointment. Despite promises from the doctors that we would be going to the delivery suite, we are all still waiting with no actual date for delivery Throughout the pregnancy I have been told that it is high risk, but it looks like there will have to be a significant risk to the baby to have any treatment here. Absolutely Appalling management. But the thousands they have spend on the car park instead of staff looks like money well spent

We are really sorry to hear that you continued to have a bad experience and would reiterate that if you would like to talk through the concerns and issues you have raised, please feel free to contact PALS on the number given or a member of the Senior Midwifery Staff. You can contact the Head of Midwifery's office on 0121 623 6920. We are aware that our induction of labour suite has been very busy of late and women have been waiting much longer than we would want. We are looking into this issue to improve the current system.
