"Awful Warfarin Clinic staff member outcome of..."

About: West Middlesex University Hospital

I had several experiences of being spoken to or shouted at rudely, and made a formal complaint about this one staff member which included her incompetence when I was at risk following a heart procedure in a different hospital. I copied PALS into the correspondence via email to the person supposed to be investigating. PALS did not bother to get back to me after leaving a message about the time the complaint investigation was taking. Neither the person dealing with the complaint nor PALS bothered, so that was a waste of time and energy aside from the distress and anxiety at such negligence from the nurse complained about. I resolved not to return there and have since the last incident in November 2013 been attending my GP Warfarin clinic. Unfortunately I have needed to spend too much time in various clinics or as an in-patient a WMUH, and my experience is that it can be either very good with excellent and competent staff. On the other hand I have experienced first hand or witness others' being treated terribly, humiliated and degraded within a filthy ward on a couple of occasions. A very hit and miss as to what your experience will be!
