"The staff were very friendly."

About: Royal Preston Hospital

(as a relative),

What I liked

The staff were very friendly.

What could be improved

Car park permanently full during the week.

Anything else?

After suffering a subarachnoid brain hemorrhage on December 29th my father was transferred to Preston from our home town of Blackpool. The Doctors and nurses of ward 2a (neurosciences) saved his life. It was a very anxious time for my dad and our family and the staff at Preston spent countless hours reassuring him and my mother and were very respectful when attending to his needs. He left Preston at the beginning of February to go back to Victoria Hospital in Blackpool. Unfortunately due to an awful experience back in Blackpool Victoria Hospital he has been returned to ward 2a, where he is there still to have further neurosurgical evaluation. I am relieved that he is in the care of the wonderful nurses on 2a and even though he is very sick again , my family and I have every confidence that they will make him well again. Thank you guys!
