I was most impressed with the cleanliness of the ward and especially the kindness and efficiency of all the staff involved. The surgeon explained the procedure clearly as well the risks, and then the anaesthetist went through the alternatives of block or general anasthetic, which reassured me about my choice. At all times, I was treated with a high level of professional respect. Post op the nurses helped me with dressing and recovery. I wish all hospitals were as good as the RFH.
