"surprised stay in neurology unit"

About: Royal Hallamshire Hospital

I had a fall at 34weeks pregnant so was taken to jessops maternity hospital which was fine- what i didn't expect was to be transferred to the neurology ward (L1) at hallamshire. At 28years old/34 weeks pregnant i was a little worried to be there but the staff was fantastic. The nurses and support workers worked so well together and it was humbling to watch how professional and supportive they were- even to the 'tricky' patients. Hopefully myself or family members will not need to go on this ward again but if any of us do i know they will be looked after with the greatest of respect, dignity & by caring professional staff.
