"First ever visit to Cannock"

Never been to the hospital before but an appointment had been transferred from New Cross to Cannock as they had some available slots . Apart from the car park not being right by the hospital, everything else about our visit was very impressive. My mom who is 84 was treated very courteously and with respect throughout the visit. Little things, like surgeon shaking our hands, receptionist from X-Ray dept getting up from her position to open the door for us-my mom is in a wheelchair, being gentle with her while weighing her, transferring her to x-Ray couch, explaining things carefully and patiently. The surgeon actually sent my mom for two separate X-Rays and was waiting for us when second X-Ray was done. His thoroughness has actually picked up what others doctors did not. Hopefully, when we return for moms follow up treatment we will be equally impressed.Please pass on our praise to all concerned. (Our appointment was Friday 25th July at 10.15am).
