"Food Standards"

About: North Devon District Hospital

I recently spent 5 days in Victoria Ward. Other than breakfast, Weetabix, the food was generally unpalatable because it was dried up and barely warm. On only one occasion was the soup hot. The lack of on site kitchens is definitely reflected the quality of food delivered. If it had not been for my mobile phone and the ability to call my family to bring food in to me, my recovery would have been severely delayed.

Dear Bob Thank you for sending us your feedback and I am really sorry to hear you felt the food was not good enough. We would be happy to look into this so we understand more about the sort of food people want in hospital. If you are happy to provide more detail, please contact PALS on 01271 314 090. Kind regards Katherine
