"Beacon Ward 5* staff"

My mum was recently a patient on Beacon Ward, having been admitted with end stage Dementia. As a family we can not praise the all the staff, medical and support for the care,attention and empathy they showed us during what was a difficult and traumatic time. The staff went way above the standards of regular care and were helpful,courteous,knowledgeable and listened to all our concerns. The Ward was regularly cleaned, hot drinks provided on a schedule and upon request and we can not give enough praise to the Senior House Officer and Nursing staff who work long hours with minimum staffing levels, in very difficult circumstances.
