"Total Hip Replacement"

I have just had my second THR at Claremont and this time was even better than before about 2 years ago. I asked to be referred there to see a specific surgeon who is amongst the best locally and because they report low infection rates. My care has been excellent, the staff are all professional, kind, friendly and considerate. I had my own room on both occasions which is so much better than a noisy ward and post operative pain management was excellently dealt with, enabling quick recovery. Food is of a good standard with efficient service and good choice and open visiting times make it easier for friends and relatives. My post operative follow-up has also been very good and this time I have been offered 2 further physiotherapy sessions. I wish everyone who has this surgery on the NHS could be treated at this standard but this is sadly not the case, and I highly recommend this hospital.
