"cardio version escalated to excellent pacemaker..."

I cant recomend all of the staff more highly. Reception, domestics,porters, nurses and Drs.I attended for a cardio version as a day patient . It was not a success which was a surprise to us all having had 2 previously and 2 ablations it seemed routine. The cardiac nurse organised for me to recieve all the observations necessary to have a pacemaker operation the next day, liasing with all the Drs and consultants. Birch ward was extremely well organised and a happy ward, the staff were friendly and efficient. I was given a time plan which was followed with no hitches. My procedure was pain free talked through it all the way by Dr name given if needed and his team. I had no pain post operative not one painkiller.I was discharged feeling confident I had recieved the best treatment I could get any where. My thanks to all the nursing staff. The porters for getting me there with a smile! The kitchen staff for excellent food though I was mostly nil by mouth! Just a big thankyou to LHCH
