"Excellent care at Medway"

Recently I was admitted to Medway Hospital suffering from chest pains and within hours of calling the ambulance underwent emergency angioplasty in the Cardiology unit, and without going into too much detail would like to express my views on the care I received. All through my stay at Medway I was treated with care, respect and dignity by all staff. I found a high degree of efficiency and professionalism in all departments concerned in my care namely:- the ambulance service, A & E, AMU, Cardiology, CCU, Administration and Post discharge care and rehabilitation. In particular I would like to commend and thank the Surgical and nursing staff in Cardiology and the Coronary Care Unit for looking after me so well. I also witnessed the sort of qualities required by NHS staff on a daily basis that most of us very rarely come across.
