"Overnight stay on ward B6"

About: Bassetlaw Hospital

After being diagnosed with breast cancer from a routine mammogram in May 2014 I was admitted to the Theatre Admissions Unit at Bassetlaw District General Hospital on 2nd June 2014 for a mastectomy. I had to have an overnight stay on ward B6 due to existing health conditions. Whilst I was an inpatient I found the staff to be helpful and caring, nothing was ever too much trouble. All aspects of my care were explained to me from breast clinic, theatre admissions, on ward B6 through to discharge and aftercare back at breast clinic. My family and I would like to say how thankful we are for all the kindness and expertise shown throughout this difficult time. Thanks again.
