"trarge nurse, terrible manners & ignorant no"

About: Halton Hospital

I arrived @ Halton hospital at10.30am 08/07/14. the receptionist was fairly nice. I waited approx. 1 hour to see the triage nurse. omg what a ignorant, arrogant person she was. No manners no compassion no conversation diabolical, what on earth is this person doing working in a hospital. Anyway she had to take my blood due to a suspected blood clot in my leg. She didn't explain what she was doing or why ,didn't rest my arm on a surface, she just stuck the needle in my arm. she had to change the tubes 4 times, she left the needle in & was fumbling on the tray behind her in change the tube, With the needle still pushed into my arm & moving constantly it was so painful I had to say something to her ! she didn't even bother to answer me, total disregard for me has a patient. she kept turning around to the tray behind her to change the tubes. why didn't she have them along side her to ease any pain for me! When she had finished, she said nothing. I sat back in the waiting my arm black & blue with a large swelling like a small golf ball. When i went to see the senior nurse who was lovely & very informative she couldn't believe what the previous nurse had done to me, she explained that the nurse had caused a hematoma in my arm. It was black & blue & very swollen & so painful;. She did speak to her, but she shown no remorse. I will never use this hospital again. It is now 10.30pm & my arm is so painful I could cry. Any way I went to Warrington hospital later that day & i have a suspected blood clot in my leg !
