What could be improved

Legions of smokers (pregnant, wheelchairbound, you name it) at every entrance making you feel unwell before you even get into the building. On one occasion three security guards were standing near them at the entrance to Gledhow wing not saying anything.

I'd figured that the signage meant smoking was prohibited anywhere in the hospitals grounds by anyone... evidently this rule is overlooked by patients. Surely someone should be looking into this. It's not a one off occurrance, it's every time I'm in or drive past.

So much for rules... it's disgusting that staff (the security guys) ignore this.

On a different note having to wait for a scan for over 45mins past my appointment time without being informed about likely waiting times could be improved.
