"Orthopedic Surgery"

About: Warwick Hospital

In October 2013 I was a patient on the day unit. From the minute I arrived I was treated with respect and as a person not a number, this I think most important. I worked for the NHS for nearly 48 years, first as a nurse then a midwife, I tried at all times to treat my patients as individuals not numbers I felt it fundamental to good nursing. I was under the care of my consultant and his team in October, the care was of the highest quality. On arrival at the Day Unit I explained that I had a problem with being sick after an anaesthetic, they were very understanding about this which put my mind at rest. All members of staff that I came into contact on that day and since have been of the highest standard.
