I have recently been discharged from Ward F1 after having a hysterectomy. I was admitted on Friday 13th June 2014. I was so nervous on the ward that if I could have changed my mind I would have done . I then met my nurse for the day she was so kind and reassuring I felt at ease straight away. I also met my consultant and a lovely anaesthetist. I walked to theatre with my nurse and before I knew it I was back on the ward operation over. Over the next 4 days from the cleaners to the consultant everyone was exceptional. The staff where always smiling and always willing to help if you had any problems. The night staff where just the same nothing was to much trouble. If anyone has to have a procedure on Ward F1 do not be afraid you are in great hands the staff are wonderful and deserve a medal.
