What I liked
My mum, was admitted last Wednsday, and after assessment, was placed in ward 29.
She has improved quite nicely, and we are grateful to you.
Both me (her son) and my sister visit allmost daily, at both periods.
We ask the ward staff about mum, and are happy with the quality of information we receive from the nursing, Physio, and occupational staff.
However, we have not met any of the Doctors treating mum, and would appreciate a more in depth progress update.
I imagine this is a frequent comment, and wondered if you have a mechanism in place for addressing this issue.
What could be improved
Maybe a written statement given to all next of kin outlining your policy in communicating patient progress
Anything else?
Best Regards. You still do a very good job!
