About: Musgrove Park Hospital (Taunton)

first visit in April, looked after by very friendly efficient nurse, seen by doctor on time. First outpatient appointment ever, very impressed with doctor's attitude, courtesy and efficency. Second visit June - very different experience. Bp checked by HCA who did not know how to measure correctly, 25 minutes late to see doctor, no apology or explanation. Doctor did not know why I was there- obviously had not read notes. Did not listen to what I was saying. Echo taken on Wednesday, was told results would be with doctor on Monday-doctor knew nothing about it and said results were never ready in under a week.seems to be a lack of communication between departments. Doctor convinced problems i am having could not be caused by drugs prescribed but could offer no explanation. Left feeling whole visit had been a waste of time with nothing resolved and now have no confidence in this department.
