"I used Choose and book and would highly recommend"

My GP discussed my options for referral and I used choose and book to attend as an NHS out patient at Fairfield Hospital. My appointment was arranged for two weeks after my GP referral at a time to suit me. The reception staff were polite and the waiting area clean and quiet. I was shown into see the consultant within 2 mins of my appointment time and he listened to my concerns. Was courteous and professional in his examination, explaining beforehand what he was going to do and prior to the examination he explained he would be sending me for a ct scan because of my symptoms as standard procedure so I shouldn't be concerned and think it was because he had felt anything. He was reassuring and descriptive and a ct was arranged for following week and explained why and a follow up appointment arranged for two weeks time. Excellent care
