"Committment to values"

About: Whipps Cross University Hospital

The summary of my comment is that the Hospital meets my expectation right from my first visit. It was frustration that prompted me to visit the hospital just to try if there will be any difference. I read some of the impressive management notes on their notice board and I felt probably to make patients feel good. Lo and behold I was surprised even right from the reception, I was convinced the hospital means what they say i.e. they put their values into practice. I read that they are compassionate and I laughed. However, by the time I left the reception desk to the Doctor's/Consultant's table I did not need any more conviction. Within weeks treatment was arranged and the condition I have been battling with for years was resolved. Thank you to the management and also to staff. I say keep it up. Whatever the management is currently doing that makes the staff to be dedicated and committed to the values of the Hospital, please continue to do it. God Bless You.

Thank you very much for sharing your experience of visiting the Eye Treatment Centre at Whipps Cross Hospital. We are so pleased that the experience met your expectations. We are lucky to have a fantastic team who really care about their patients and the care they deliver - whether on reception or in the clinic room - and we're very pleased to hear that this was your experience. We have fed back your message to the staff and they are delighted to hear that everything went well. We hope you continue in good health. Kind regards, Barts Health NHS Trust
