"Rotherham Hospital Childrens ward"

About: Rotherham Hospital

My Granddaughter had to attend the A & E first as she was shaking uncontrollably. Straight after the Triage nurse had seen her she was booked into the children's ward, where for three days the Nurses, doctors and Registrar continually checked on her well being, and were open and honest as to what may be (or what they thought may be) causing the problem. We were kept informed all the time as to what their thoughts were and what action they were going to take. After three days she was transferred to Sheffield Children's Hospital. Throughout her stay at the hospital, we were continually impressed by the nurses genuine caring and nothing appeared to be a problem in relation to their patients. The Doctors and Registrar spoke to our 14 year old Granddaughter in a language she understood. We never felt as though we were in the way or couldn't ask about something that was bothering us. We would therefore like to say a big thank you to everyone involved in the care of our Granddaughter during this worrying time.
