The morning after my step-daughter stepped off the plane at LHR she went into AFIB.Within an hour of ringing 999 she was in the Cardiac Critical Care Unit. After several attempts at defibrillation her heart had not stabilised and she was put on a course of drug treatment. By the 4th day her heart stabilised and we collected her that lunchtime. Throughout her stay she was looked after with great skill, sensitivity and professionalism from a truly multinational team who liaised with her consultant in South Africa. Thanks to that performance she did get a good second week to her holiday and is now safely back home. Five stars. Thank you the 'A Team'!
