ward 1 was very good all staff were great. ward was very clean cleaners were very good. happy ward.

What could be improved

my wife and relatives rang to find out how i was after my operation,messages were not passed on, and i was not told they had rang.moved to ward 11 the floor was dirty and staff at loggerheads with each other.

Anything else?

i was left in a cubicle in a&e in extreme pain for 2 hours.without seeing a doctor,treated very badly by night staff in surgical assessment unit having to beg for pain relieve,i was told i would just have to Waite.i was told of kidney stones when i went in,blood in urine,but had a laparoscopic appendectomy.which found no result,5 days after leaving hospital,i have a trapped nerve in my shoulder resulting numbness in my right arm 5weeks later and a lot of pain i,m still off work
