"Eye casualty visit with child"

I attended the eye casualty after my son had an eye injury at school. We were seen really quickly and all the staff were friendly and great at reassuring and explaining to both me and my son. He had eye drops that sting a bit but the nurse kept him laughing and relaxed throughout. Appropriate advice was given about warning signs to watch for in the next few days which were clearly explained to my son in a humorous and not frightening way but stressing the importance to him A great service all round!
