"Wonderful treatment"

On January 29th. I feel down the stairs and fractured my hip. After an operation in Carlisle I was taken to Overwater Ward 2 at the West Cumberland Hospital Whitehaven. The staff there were king, gentle and caring. Everyone from cleaners, catering staff and nurses did their best for the patients some of whom were very elderly and needed a great deal of care. The food was good as it is cooked on the premises. The nursing staff were grossly overworked but kept cheerful at all times. I have nothing but praise for this hospital.
