"Staff put my very anxious partner totally at ease"

My partner had day surgery at Airedale hospital. The pre op was helpful to her very informative and instructions clear. Yesterday she had the surgery. Again all instructions very clear and helpful. Staff all very welcoming and polite and efficient on reception. Put partner totally at ease (she was very very anxious). Care on the ward highest quality. Great helpful staff throughout. Helpful aftercare advice including what to do who to call if any concerns. (Really important for anxious partner). Clearly explained all medication what to take when and why. Any improvement? I don't understand why everyone listed for day surgery has to arrive at the same time but I'm sure there's a reason. As the carer I would have liked a clearer indication of likely time for pick up. Even 'after 5' would have been helpful. But these are minor points. My partner was a worried mess on the way in and was made to feel totally calm and relaxed by professional staff from reception to nurses to OT (guess here it was an OT sorry). Thanks
