"Warrington Hospital Urology Department"

About: Warrington Hospital / Urology

(as a relative),

My partner has been seeing a Urologist at Warrington Hospital as he has pain in his sides and they suspect that he may have kidney stones. He attended for a CT scan in December 2008 and was told to make an appointment with the Urologist to get the results. The first appointment he could get was in March 2009. I think it is really unacceptable to have to wait this long. When making the appointment we were told by the person dealing with the appointments "don't worry if it's anything serious they will call us in sooner." But my point is if they don't see anything on the scan, my partner still has the pain and further investigation is needed. I think we know our own bodies enough to know when something is wrong and should not be made to wait to get results for this long. Quicker waiting times can save lives.
