"Excellent experience on ward 14"

I will in Leeds and have recently had a elective admission on ward 14 under the excellent care of the consultant and his dedicated team. I was very impressed with the high standards of care I was given throughout my 6 day stay; everyone was caring, friendly and eager to assist not only myself but others on the ward. I would like to highlight one nurse in particular, a staff nurse working nights despite how busy the ward was nothing was too much trouble and I would hope she will be informed how much I appreciated her care, attention and kindness. My only slight negative aspect of the experience was I was seen by the doctor at 0.800 on the day of discharge and did not receive my medications to take home until nearly 18.00 the medics were busy and not available to complete the discharge letter until mid afternoon; however the nursing staff were apologetic throughout. Thank you to everyone involved and I would highly recommended Barnsley Hospital.
