"Emergency admission and stay on ward 14"

About: King's Mill Hospital

I was admitted to Kings Mill hospital with a ruptured ectopic pregnancy. From the start the care I was given was fantastic, from the paramedic that responded to the call, to the lady that cleans on ward 14 and kept me smiling when I was feeling my worst. I was brought in to A&E by paramedics that had worked hard to stabilise me in the ambulance. Once in the hospital, I was dealt with by the doctors and nurses quickly who again took great care of me and made sure I was looked after. I was sent to theatre for emergency surgery and again was reassured and looked after brilliantly. I was transferred to ward 14 to recover and I must say everyone was fantastic. They made me welcome, helped me with anything I needed, reassured me when I needed it and made me and my family comfortable. I really cannot thank everyone that has cared for me the last few days enough for saving my life. Please could you pass on my comments and gratitude to all mentioned... The paramedics, A&E team, the surgeon and team that operated, the aftercare doctors in gynaecology and especially all on ward 14. Plenty of people are quick to complain but I for sure have nothing but good things to say about this hospital. Thank you again
