What I liked
Nothing
What could be improved
The waiting times
Anything else?
My Dad was brought in by an ambulance as he had collapsed at work and had blood in his urine. He was waiting 4 hours in the A&E department before a nurse even spoke to him. He was finally taken in to see the doctor and had blood tests taken and xrays. We then waited a further 3 hours whilst they tried to find a bed for my Dad. In the end my Dad got fed up of waiting and discharged himself in the early hours of the morning. I was disgusted with the care of the genuine patients as 85% of the people waiting to be seen were time wasters! In the afternoon there were lots of security guards in the A&E department but as the hours ticked by they vanished leaving the other patients / visitors to deal with all the waifs and strays.
