"Long wait at pathology dept"

My wife had a two hour wait and was still not seen. With seven rooms operating, it should be the norm to have your number called within 10 to 15 minutes. Why did she have to wait so long? Fast track in that time was only four. We feel this is an utter shambles, and that it can only be explained by awful management. In comparison, we have found that Christchurch hospital runs an excellent system for taking blood. It's no good putting red signs up and not giving a reasonable service, of course people will moan. If the management cannot cope in running this department, then resign.
