"Complaint for maternity units."

About: Warrington Hospital

I came to be induced on Monday 8th September after being told several times I'm next to go on labour ward ,after being told on Monday we were next to be induced then kept on being pushed back all the time due to the staffing levels being so poor. Came Wednesday 10th September in the morning when they finally came round for me to have my waters broke never felt so Releaved to have me induced. I will just add my midwife was absolutely fantastic with me Not happy with having been waiting in hospital for 3 days just to be induced when you have a little 2 year old girl waiting at home and boyfriend already taking 2 week leave when not at home. Get More staff that care. Patients always right.

Thanks for your feedback on maternity and hope all is well with the new arrival. We'd be happy to look into any reasons for a delay if you wanted us to. Please email us at pals@whh.nhs.uk if you want us to do that. The staff on the unit do care immensely about every patient and staffing levels on the unit are as planned but obviously with the midwifery service, demand can change day to day and we have to prioritise around that. Please contact us and we can look into things further for you.
