A lovely new hospital, with individual rooms with views. this is where it ended. The staff did not give you confidence that they knew what they where doing ,told by nurses that they would be back to instil eye drops and forgot so visitor did it , this happened on two occasions. Food give not suitable for patient with a very sore mouth and unable to wear teeth given sandwiches and meat slices when unable to chew it Some of the staff did not seem to be enjoying there work or have the bedside manor to be a nurse..A friend was also in at the same time and food was found in the room under a chair, lost there hearing aids ? went to the laundry in the linen. Bring back the old way of training nurses when the hospital was run by a matron.Nurses took pride in their appearance and did not wear the uniform out of the hospital .They looked after the hole persons needs not like to-day .
