"Mistreatment"

About: Southampton General Hospital

I was left in my own urine and excrement and staff ignored my pleas for help. They didn't care for me or wash me or anything. The only way I could get any proper treatment was to self discharge myself. Caused considerable distress to both me and my partner. When I left hospital I weighed eight and a half stone instead of eleven stone. Generally I wouldn't recommend my hospital to my worst enemy. Left lying on a mattress on the floor. I wasn't washed or anything. No contact or feedback from any of the doctors or consultants about my treatment or conditions.
