"I wish I could remember all the names, as they were all fantastic"

About: Barnsley Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I was admitted to ward 33 Barnsley District General due to a fractured vertebrae. The best things about my treatment was that they were very caring. They listened to my needs and were able to tend to my needs when necessary. I don't think anymore could have been done for me because of my injury, and I was made as comfortable as possible. The only thing I was embarrassed about was when they had to tend to my needs after the bed pan, as I was unable to do this.

I would like to thank all the staff on ward 33. Some names I remember; Jackie, Nikki, Maggie, Emily, Adelle, Tracey and even the male staff. I wish I could remember all the names as they were all fantastic. A big thank you to all of them. The only problem with the whole experience was lying on my back for 11 days until I got my brace. I know this wasn't anyone’s fault.
