"Further to story entitled 'Withdrawal of my Mental Health Care'"

About: Rainsbrook HC

(as the patient),

Communication getting more confusing as my mental health deteriorates further. I've just had a disastrous discharge from Kingfisher Ward. This was entirely caused by the trusts poor management of changes and subsequent poor complaint handling and poor communication/discharge process which has never been good in my experience but is worse than ever now.

I think I am the only one that speaks up so it gives me a reputation of trouble maker and impacts on my care. I would like to say here that there are some good nurses on Kingfisher Ward but the morale there seems low and there is an air of complacency among some. I don't blame them. They try to do a good job which is then undone by the Doctors attitudes, communication between hospital and CMHT Doctors, and poor discharge to a Community Team that has no staff left!

I will spare the gory details here but I am now at home and feeling dangerously ill, disorientated, having nightmares about suicide. I have a Christan Faith and am praying that I can somehow get to a more peaceful place. I thank God for Queensway Medical Centre who have lovely staff, working well as a team even though they do not have answers. They too are victims of the NHS cuts.

I would like NHFT to get their corporate heads together and find a patient centred resolution to help me to feel safer and pick up the reins of my life as I was doing with the consistency of the wonderful Care coordinator who was taken away.
