"waiting times"

About: Western Eye Hospital

Spent 4 wonderful hours here yesterday. Got there early for my appointment but spent more time sitting down watching my fellow patients wonder over to the poor receptionist and complaining about their wait. No-one seemed remotely interested in informing patients that having an appointment meant nothing. If they know that people will be spending hours there why not have a vending machine so people can get a drink or some food. There was no-one actually giving out proper waiting times to people arriving and no-one seemed interested in wanting to help. When I finally saw a doctor I was in and out in five minutes

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is concerned to read of your experience at the Western Eye Hospital . We sincerely apologise for the wait times in the clinic and that you were not kept informed with regard to the situation. Your comments are important to us and have been passed to the service manager. As space is limited in the clinic a vending machine would not be appropriate but there are refreshment facilities available in the reception area.
