"Biopsy Prostate"

I had to have a Biopsy of my prostate and had heard rumours from people of the pain that is felt during this procedure, this along with the embarrassment of the procedure. I was met by a mature nurse who took me into her office and put me at my ease with her stories about the procedure and what it involves. I was then taken into the room for the Biopsy. The doctor took time to tell me what was going to happen and he as well put me at ease. Throughout the Biopsy they kept me talking about anything to keep my mind off what was happening, and though it was uncomfortable it was not that painful. Throughout the Biopsy I was not put in an embarrassing situation my dignity being protected. I had a nurse of the old school who I can't praise enough along with the doctor. If you have to have a Prostate Biopsy don't listen to old wives tales, it is not that bad and is over very quickly.
