"Patella ORIF Surgery"

About: Cheltenham General Hospital

Went in for my Patella ORIF surgery. Was told that the trauma list was full, despite being booked up. However the team made every effort to keep me comfortable and placed me in a room in the Dixton ward for placement on the Elective List the next day. Post-operatively the pain-management was superb along with understanding nursing staff for when I woke in the night. Will be returning next January for wire removal!

Hi there, Thank you very much for sharing this feedback. It's good to hear your operation went well and we hope you're now recovering well at home? We will happily pass your comments onto the staff on Dixton Ward. Best wishes The team at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
