"Gall bladder removal"

About: Princess Royal University Hospital (Orpington)

Had gall bladder removed on 29.8.14. Treatment from start to finish was absolutely superb. Special mention made re nursing staff who were very attentive and went the extra mile with tea/coffee, etc post op. Taken to Farnborough ward post op where facilities were excellent and surroundings exceptionally clean. Only slight downsides were the wait for operation January 2014 to August 2014 and if being picky the surgical waiting area left something to be desired. Uncomfortable seats, crowded with plain walls, not particularly conducive in a stressful situation. Anyway, to anyone nervous about the operation (especially if researching google) please don't be. There was no substantial pain post op. Almost immediately all pre op conditions nausea, pain, diarrhoea gone. Stomach settled within three days. Thank you very much to my consultant surgeon and excellent nursing staff at the PRU
