"Orpington Hospital is a great place for a hip..."

I had a hip replacement operation and was impressed with the professionalism, expertise and friendliness of the staff, right from porters through to the consultant. The ward staff were helpful and caring and their morale was high, despite being very busy. I was given constant checks and the physiotherapy and occupational therapy staff were very efficient, getting me walking and mounting stairs within a few hours. I was amazed at the speed of my pain-free recovery and am looking forward to going home after only 2 nights on the ward.
